National Reconciliation Week 2026: All In
From 27 May to 3 June, Australians come together to acknowledge National Reconciliation Week — a time to reflect on our shared histories, listen deeply, learn from one another, and continue walking the path toward reconciliation.
This year’s theme, “All In,” is a powerful call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. It reminds us that reconciliation is not something that happens on the sidelines. It requires all of us to show up, listen, learn, build relationships, and take meaningful action. (Reconciliation Australia)
At Weaving Our Stories, reconciliation is woven into the heart of what we do.
Through weaving, storytelling, gathering, and creative connection, we create spaces where people can come together with respect and openness. Every woven piece carries story, culture, connection to Country, and the strength of generations who have shared knowledge through art and community.
Reconciliation is about more than a single week. It is about honouring First Nations peoples, recognising truth, celebrating the world’s oldest living cultures, and creating a future built on understanding and respect.
This week, we encourage everyone to take a moment to learn, listen, and reflect. Attend a local event, support First Nations artists and businesses, read First Nations stories, learn about the history of the land you live on, and have meaningful conversations with those around you.
Being All In means recognising that reconciliation belongs to all of us.
As we continue weaving stories, may we also continue weaving stronger connections, deeper understanding, and a future where respect and reconciliation are lived every day.
